This course will introduce students to the basic principles used in the study of Petroleum Geochemistry and Geo chemical Methods. This will include a focus on the processes that influence the Geo chemical Analysis their Importance in Hydrocarbon Characterization, as well as focusing on the Types of organic matter and their Geo chemical prospective. Special emphasis will also be placed on the organic and inorganic methods that are used to make hydrocarbon characteristics their interpretation and importance of major sedimentary basins of world.
