Program Delivery
Blended learning has become common today as a method for delivering education to a large, diverse student community spread across the globe. The definition of blended learning has also changed from a simple blend of classroom training to more complex programs that incorporate an array of synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities.
With the robust Learning Management System (LMS), the Blended learning expands the traditional role of learning beyond its usual scope. The core learning methodology includes BRICS model, Forum Discussions, Case Studies, Contextual Project Work, Article Review and Research Project. BRICS model is a uniquely designed teaching learning activity for the Distance Learning Program which is block based. This ensures a dedicated learning of one course at a time for a specified period.
BBRRIICCSS (BRICS) is the Uniquely designed teaching and learning methodology developed for the Blended Learning Program. The complete Learning process is reliable on the MOODLE – The Core Learning Management system. Some of the main features of the MOODLE are:
- Flexible Learning: Moodle’s Online platform allows for 24/7 access to courses and content. Materials can be accessed from anywhere, giving learners the freedom to learn on their own time
- Mobile Compatibility: Provides greater flexibility for learners to access course materials on any mobile device
- Modular based curriculum: Focuses on the core competency and skills
- Extensive support: Provided by the Student Coordinator throughout the course
